Regular Retail: $7.99Sabila Monte Cristi Plain is made only from the pure inner fillets of mature aloe leaves. Hand filleting immediately after harvest insures the the gels' freshness and minimizes the bitter latex material ( Aloin), found just beneath the rind, from getting into the inner gel.
Our entire process from harvesting to extraction is performed by hand. Our harvesters only cut the healthiest, mature leaves from the Aloe Vera plant. No more than three leaves are harvested at a time to insure the health of the plant. Grown in organically certified fields in the Dominican Republic, mature aloe leaves are harvested and filleted by hand minimizing the contamination by bitter latex material found just beneath the rind. Cold processed insures our juice retains its full activity.
