Maitake Mushroom is a herbal supplement. Nature's Herbs Maitake Mushroom is cultivated in China. Classified as a polypore, which is a mushroom without the common feature of a singular cap and gills, it has multiple branching stems with flowering ruffled caps.

The naturally-occurring polysaccharides in Maitake Mushroom include beta-D-glucan fraction, which is believed responsible for Maitake's benefits.
