Regular Retail: $18.00Baby eczema and cradle cap are no fun for baby or parents. Eczema and cradle cap are actually both forms of dermatitis or inflammation of the skin.
Baby eczema is typically manifested by areas of red, scaly, itchy skin on the face, elbows, knees, neck, and sometimes baby’s back and diaper area.
For baby eczema, the key is to keep baby moisturized. Bathe baby in lukewarm water for no more than 5 minutes. As soon as possible after patting baby dry, gently massage our Eczema & Cradle Cap oil on affected areas, avoiding baby’s face.
Cradle Cap is recognizable by its crusty yellowish/ whitish appearance which usually affects the scalp, head, eyebrows and area behind the ears.
For cradle cap, rub a small amount of oil into the scalp before shampoo (an hour or more is ideal). Then, just before the shampoo, gentle brushing with a very soft brush or sponge may help loosen flakes. You may want to apply after shampooing as well. More frequent shampooing may be advisable.
