Description

Flax Seed Oil is the most potent known source of alpha-linolenic acid, an essential omega-3 fatty acid. It is extracted from organically grown flax seeds using a special cold-pressing process, which minimizes the damaging effects of light, oxygen and heat.

Flax Seed Oil is also rich in the omega-6 essential fatty acid, linoleic acid, as well as the omega-9 essential fatty acid, oleic acid. With a total EFA content greater than 70%, and a total unsaturation of greater than 90%, this is a cost-effective source of omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9 fatty acids. Essential fatty acids are involved in prostaglandin synthesis, hormone production, immune response, fat metabolism, and cell membrane integrity and fluidity.

Ingredients

3 softgel contain:

Vitamin A (as Beta-Carotene): 150 IU

Flax Seed Oil: 3000 mg

Alpha-Linolenic Acid (Omega-3): 1650 mg

Linoleic Acid (Omega-6): 510 mg

IOleic Acid (Omega-9): 510 mg

Other ingredients: Gelatin, glycerin, water.

Suggested Usage

As a dietary supplement, take one to three capsules 3 times daily with meals, or as directed by a physician. Keep cool, dry, and tightly capped.
