Description
Vitamin C is the body's most important water-soluble antioxidant nutrient and is involved in a wide variety of biochemical reactions throughout the body. Included in its functions is the synthesis of collagen, the basis of connective tissues, found in virtually every cell of the body.
This Pure Vitamin C is ascorbic acid in unbuffered form, and may be preferred by sensitive individuals who tolerate its mild acidity.
Ingredients
1 capsule contains:
Vitamin C (as Ascorbic Acid): 1000 mg
Other ingredients: Gelatin, cellulose, magnesium stearate.
Suggested Usage
As a dietary supplement, 1 to 2 capsules one to three times daily on an empty stomach, or as directed by a healthcare practitioner. Sensitive individuals may want to take with food. Cautions: Use only under the guidance of a healthcare practitioner during pregnancy and with children. Some individuals experience sun sensitivity while using St. John's Wort and therefore may want to avoid heavy sunlight exposure while using this product.
