The built-in, environmentally friendly NiMH battery is recharged from solar power, its hand-cranked dynamo, your home electricity, or power can also be supplemented by 3 AA batteries (not included). It picks up shortwave frequencies from 3.8 to 19.2 MHz, VHF television bands, AM/FM, and National Weather Service bands. This radio packs in a ton of features for the price!
